Daughter of Sunset Oasis welcomed a visiting Brother at our temple tonight. Mass was beautifully and intimately celebrated by our Priest and Priestess. Those that could not attend were missed.

Fr. Iskandar and I attended the event in September 2009 and were suitably impressed. The dealer room was impressive enough on its own, and each of the speakers was worth the trip. The best thing about an event organized like this is that there are no multiple tracks. You get to see EVERY speaker if you want or you can feel free to take long breaks and browse the hundreds of rare and collectible titles in the dealer room.
We both had VIP tickets so we got to go to the invitation-only special entertainment. Some of the acts were not to my taste but the performances I did enjoy were fantastic. With the change in venue for the VIP entertainment I would highly recommend the VIP upgrade.
No repeat in speakers and even more book dealers add to the value of this year’s event. Lets hope the organizers continue their efforts and make this an annual event!
